Meet the Proprietor

My name is Amy Taphouse, proprietor of Fun Lovin’ Tattoos, I have been working in the tattoo industry since 2007. With over 20 years of personal tattooing experience and more than 18 years running my own business, I have built a career grounded in both creativity and professionalism. My work is supported by a strong understanding of the integumentary system, allowing me to practise tattooing safely, confidently, and to a high clinical standard.

Alongside my tattoo career, I bring over 20 years of experience working within primary and emergency care for the NHS. My qualifications include higher education in pre-hospital emergency care, a diploma in health and science professions, and certifications in anatomy and physiology, venipuncture, wound care, and semi-permanent make-up. This medical background underpins my approach, ensuring that every procedure is carried out with precision, hygiene, and client safety at the forefront.

I specialise in tattoo augmentation, focusing on enhancing, expanding, or refining existing tattoos. Using an all black ink method, I create cohesive, detailed pieces that elevate previous work and bring new life to existing designs.

Throughout my career, I have also trained and mentored tattoo artists, carefully selecting individuals with the dedication, professionalism, and humility needed to succeed. Supporting others in developing their artistry and confidence has been a rewarding part of my journey.

At Fun Lovin’ Tattoos, we are a warm and welcoming studio made up of female artists who pride ourselves on being attentive, respectful, and understanding of each client’s individual vision. We are passionate about creating a comfortable and positive experience for everyone who works with us.

We are now excited to expand into mobile tattooing, offering a unique and professional service that brings high-quality artistry directly to your event.
