GUIDE NO. duri
During Your Appointment
Your Comfort is Priority
Tattooing is a physical and mental experience. We want you to feel empowered and relaxed throughout the entire process.
1. Snacks and Water
- Stay Hydrated: Bring water to sip during the session to help your body manage pain and adrenaline.
- Sugary Snacks: Keep your blood sugar up. Fruit, chocolate, or a granola bar can provide a vital boost if you start to feel lightheaded.
2. Communication is Key
- Breaks: Do not be afraid to ask for a break. If you need to stretch, adjust your chair, or use the restroom, just speak up.
- Honesty: We want you to be 100% happy with the stencil placement. If it’s slightly off or you want it shifted, tell us! It’s much easier to re-apply the stencil than to live with a placement you’re not happy with.
- How You Feel: Be honest about how you’re feeling. If you start to feel faint or the pain is becoming unmanageable, we can pause and regroup.
3. Numbing Options
We offer numbing cream for certain sessions. If you’re considering this, please discuss it with us before your appointment. Some creams can change skin texture and affect how it takes ink, so we want to ensure we use the best option for your specific piece.
Remember: You are the most important part of this session. We’re here to make sure you have the best experience possible.
